Taking Your Next Step In Following Jesus Christ

What difference does it make in my life that God is all powerful? We look at three practical truths that are comforting for us in this day and time.

What does it mean that God is omnipotent or is all powerful? Are there any limitations to His power and if so does this mean He is not omnipotent? 

What about those truths about God that we cannot fully imagine? These are not problems that demand a solution but rather a mystery that causes meditation. 

There are just some truths about God that are beyond our understanding but this does not mean we cannot adequately talk about who God is. 

The attribute of God's eternality may seem like it could have very little application for our daily lives but that could not be further from the truth. This attribute makes a big difference in our lives each and every day! 

The truth that God is eternal is one we cannot fully imagine in our minds but it is one that we can talk about. Our inability to fully comprehend a truth does not diminish the truth in anyway.

What difference does it make? He look at 5 practical applications that we can make from this truth.

What does it mean when we say that God is higher than ________ and you fill in the blank with anything? Does it mean God higher in location or further in distance or does it mean something totally different? 

Actions speak louder than words! How active God is reveals how personal He is in our lives. 

Where is God right now? Not only that.. but what is He doing in your life? 

Our lives are filled with influence. What we do carries major implications in the lives of others. In this episode, we consider how much of a difference our decisions make in the lives of others.

What are we doing with the opportunities that we are given in life? Does it really matter what we do? 

For many people it is more natural to lead than to follow. Our desires and wants drive us towards the direction we want in contrast to following the direction of another. We must learn to follow. 

We should not follow just anybody! A person must be worthy to be followed. Therefore, we must know the one we are following in order to commit our lives fully to following that person step by step.  

Rather than looking back we need to be looking forward keeping our eyes focused on the one we are following. Looking forward will remind us of three things.
